Stack acquired Nadcap certification on October 15, 1996 becoming one of the first commercial Heat Treat shops on the west coast to do so. We have maintained that certification without fail for 13 yrs, a feat we are very proud of. In March of 2009, after 2 years of training and preparation Stack was awarded its Air Agency Certificate qualifying Stack to operate as an FAA certified Repair Station for Heat Treat.
We pride ourselves on our strong commitment; to deliver our customers parts heat treated to the condition they have requested, by the due date they require and we show that in part by the certification we deliver with our parts. When our customers request a cert Stack will deliver a document that reports every step of the process, times, temperatures, furnace number and all pertinent test results. With our technologically advanced computer charting system, we can print charts for any step in the process. We have a functioning lab capable of testing hardness in Brinell, and all standard Rockwell scales. We also have microhardness equipment to inspect hardness, decarburization and case depth. We have a strong 20 year relationship with a local Nadcap accredited material testing house and are able to offer Chemical and Physical testing with a short enough lead time so our customer will see no delay in delivery.
