Stack Metallurgical (www.StackMet.com), a heat treating facility located within the Swan Island Industrial Park in Portland, Oregon is seeking experienced Aluminum Heat Treat Operators to join our manufacturing team.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of heat treat experience.

• Must be able to operate aluminum furnaces.

• Must be able to handle lifting as necessary and use lifting equipment.

• Operator must have experience in setting and maintaining proper furnace temperature, time, and correct heat treatment cycles through the use of prepared data cards and procedure sheets.

• Experience in the heat treatment of Aerospace parts and/or components is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Operator performs heat treatment and associated operations relating to treatment of Aerospace parts and/or components.

• Operator must load and unload work baskets for both solution and age loads.

• Responsible for conformance to safety rules, 5S and Lean manufacturing practices.

• Other duties as assigned.
